NO ON SAVE ACT H.R.22
The Save Act would require all American citizens registering to vote or updating their registration information to present documentary proof of citizenship in person with either a passport ($165 for first time adult applicants/$130 for renewals), or birth certificate. If you are a married woman with a last name change, this act makes no mention of a marriage certificate. A driver’s license or Real ID will not satisfy the requirements.

The Save Act would up-end online voter registration, make it impossible to mail in registration and eliminate voter registration drives.
